He was an extremely polite and simple person, I knew him since his college days in National College.

I remember him very well. He was nice, friendly and helpful to all in Ankara. He never took any sides or made any enemies. He was just cool-headed person overall, and stayed with his business at hand.

This news is very sad news. When we joined METU, Araj was one year senior to us. He made every effort to help us settle down - translated for us, took us around and explained everything about the courses and the University. We could not have survived without him.

The late Ahmed Arab Ansari used to call him Araj Babu and Tipu knew him from National College. Whenever, we needed anything we ran to ask him.

Later, people started going to Tehran after graduation and Araj and Wahaj Bhai were always there to help and guide them. It is heartbreaking to think that we will never see Araj Babu again.

Wahaj Bhai, we pray that Allah grants Araj a place in Janat and sabar to all of your family.
